The Junior Chronicles: Part 7 (Pre-Surgery)

This post is catching up on our afternoon visit with Junior.  It took place after we decided to send him to surgery, but before they took him in to operate.

Scenes from the vet clinic today:

Junior was obviously weak and depressed.  He was resting in his stall when we arrived, and we were told he was often this way in the past day or so.

It has been a long 10 days for this horse.  For us all.

Up, and he looked more like himself.

After a while, Junior was taken away to have another catheter placed in his neck in preparation for his surgery.  We wouldn't see him again before his surgery later in the afternoon, so we told him good luck.

And we settled in for a wait.
